My name is Kasper Eriksen Sørig, and I am the new owner of Hotel Postgården. I will operate the hotel as it is - namely a hotel, and I will, among other things, further develop it into a hotel with cozy and lovely rooms and an inviting breakfast buffet for guests.

I am in a relationship with Mia, who owns Salonen 4xk in Algade, and throughout the summer season, we will collaborate on: Hotel-Summer-Salon with Cocktails, Draft Beer, and Snacks, every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. And sometimes the evenings will be enhanced with live music.

We start with Hotel-Summer-Salon on Thursday, June 6th, so come and meet old or new friends, it will certainly be cozy and festive!

My experience in the hotel industry began when I was hired as a receptionist at Hotel Mercur (the old Spies Hotel in the heart of Copenhagen) at the age of 20. Concurrently, I pursued my education at Niels Brock in Hotel & Marketing Management. I was at Hotel Mercur for 4 years.

This was followed by 7 years as a Revenue Manager/Operations Manager at the illustrious Hotel Østerbro.

Now I have seized my dream of owning my own hotel, and it is no coincidence that it is at Hotel Postgården, as Skælskør is and will remain my hometown, which I wish to strengthen in collaboration with good partners. I look forward to running a good and solid hotel operation because this culturally historic, old, and fine hotel deserves it.
